Gobo came to Twin Squeaks from Autumnglory Kennel two years ago to live with our gerbil Buster. Sadly, Buster passed away this past fall, and Gobo has been looking for a friend ever since.
At the 2009 New England Gerbil Show, we adopted Smurf, one of the first blue gerbils in the United States. (Smurf was born in the U.S., but his parents were born in Finland.)
Smurf is a very sweet boy who is very gentle and enjoys being held. He also has extremely soft fur and the most adorable little face.
We introduced the boys to each other after a week in a split tank. It’s so nice to see Gobo with a friend again! On YouTube, you can see Gobo grooming Smurf during their introduction.
